Air travel complaints in Canada are apparently lesser when compared to complaints in the USA. I supposed we Americans are simply less patient? It has to do with our culture, which moves at warp speed. No?
Airline complaints are inevitable anywhere you have airlines – which would be most countries. But travel complaints seem to be handled better in Canada. Why is that? Is it because of the low volume?
The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) is the federal government regulator of the transportation industry in Canada. These guys are the ones responsible for the administration of the Canada Transportation Act – the law that governs air travel in Canada. One of the functions of the Canadian Transportation Agency is handling air travel complaints and monitoring air fares.
Do Canadians sue the airline when they are p’ed off by airline companies? I am certain. However from what it seems, they are much less aggressive. The USA after all is the MOST litigious society in the world.
